Position Purpose

Independent delivery of the below activities accurately and in timely manner for Hedge funds administrator

–          PB Files Download

–          Static Data Setup & Fund Setup

–          Trade-file upload

–          Pricing

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

–          Require to work on the reviews before information delivers to client

–          Ensure that client issues/concerns are addressed and resolved within the agreed timelines.

–          Ensure high level of communication network is established will all the departments within the Business group.

–          Ensure all the documentation is in place w.r.t Risk mitigation and Control.

–          Prioritize the work and conduct investigation with due diligence on all the discrepancies.

–          Closely working with the managers and provide MIS to management

–          Ensure appropriate checks and procedures are followed and documentation  is maintained to ensure the Quality and timely deliverables.

Contributing Responsibilities

 

–          1) Data Collections 2) Static Data Setup  3) Trade File upload 4) Performing Reconciliation 5) Pricing Loads 6) Reconciliation Setup 7) Trade file setup 8) Scheduler Setup

–          Ensure procedures are in place to effectively deal with exceptions and that they are reviewed, researched, documented and resolved in a timely manner.

–          Consistently evaluate and update documented procedures to ensure they are complete, accurate and current.

–          Preparation of Key/Standard Operating Procedures for each process migrated to Chennai Hub.

–          Compliance with all internal organizational and business policies

–          Troubleshoot issues of junior members and mentor / coach / buddy them

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

–          Knowledge about Financial Instrument like Equities, Bonds, Futures, Options, Swaps, and ABS.

–          Should have decent knowledge about Bloomberg , IDC & Reuters

–          Should have decent knowledge about Excel – Pivots, financial functions

–          Should have decent communication

–          Should have exposure to Trade Operation platforms.

–          Working knowledge of Advent Geneva is added advantage

–          Strong hedge fund accounting and hedge fund reconciliation experience (understanding of process and business required).
