About Business line/Function:

Develop and maintain IT systems for HR Onboarding and maintaining the employee data. Platform responsible for Employee Journey – Onboarding, Leaves, Allowance, , documentation, letter distribution, Exit,  capturing audit trails and being golden source for employee information. Application resides in the core model of the CEP IT and provides connectivity within the various HR platforms.

Position Purpose

Play an important role in gathering requirements, impact assessment and changes to HR Systems managing system related activities across India. You will work with a diverse stakeholder group including regional and local HR teams, IT vendors, and others.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Connecting with the HR business stakeholders to understand the business problem, strategy, constraints and translate it to requirements such that the overall HR vision is met.

·       Creating Requirement Specifications in the form of user stories, FSD, BRDs for HR Applications in scope like Peoplesoft, Taleo, Payroll, Leave Applications, Skill Matrix etc.

·       Document Functional specifications, processes, acceptance criteria and use cases

·       Able to provide feasible and logical solutions to the complex problems.

·       Participate in Functional HRIS activities, including process definition and design, documentation, configuration, application testing, as well as some project management and internal communication activities as needed.

·       Conduct gap analysis, provide impact assessments, and make recommendations that offer workable, efficient options to users.

·       Produce high quality documentation, including business requirements, procedural documentation, operational and process flow documents, and test scripts.

·       Ensure requirements and specifications documentation reach signoff and validate deliverables to specifications.

·       Conduct SIT and Drive UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff

Contributing Responsibilities

·       Participate in Design discussions, test, and maintain HR applications, including customizations and enhancements.

·       Recommend changes to current processes to provide more effective use of the HRIS, and take the lead to implement these changes

·       Provide support for HCM, including researching and resolving system issues, unexpected results or process flaws; recommending solutions or alternative methods to meet requirements; and utilizing a ticket tracking system when required.

·       Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation; train clients on new processes/functionality; and train new system users.

·       Liaise with Dev and APS team to maintain and implement mandatory changes for IT infrastructure

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·       5+ Years experienced.

·       Experience with HR Applications preferably PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and 9.2 modules: HR Core, Payroll, Benefits, ESS, MSS, Recruiting, Leave Applications

·       Experience with People Tools 8.5x, People Code, PS query, BI publisher, SQR

·       Understanding of inbound & outbound interfaces using Application engine & File layouts.

·       Hands–on experience on BA Validations, Requirement Phasing & support.

·       Good Analytical skills – Quick to simplify complex topics.

·       Experience and knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology

·       Proficiency in SQL, SQR, and PeopleSoft Application Engine.

·       Strong communication and teamwork skills.

·       Basic understanding of system architecture including SSL/TLS1.2 certificates, Corp network vs DMZ, proxy settings, F5 switch load balancer, SSO/LDAP, SFTP setup, Auth2, system logs etc would be good plus as the role requires to support applications from Infra side as well

·       Understanding of technology obsolescence, vulnerabilities, application inventory including DR, RTO/RPO etc
