Under BNP Paribas IT Group, FRESH is the IT framework encompassing Projects & Systems of Finance and RISK functions, with a strong focus on efficiency, proximity, agility and time-to-market.

Position Purpose
As a part of FRESH, SO FRESH (Support On FRESH) team provides a worldwide support as first point of contact for Finance application Stakeholders. Thanks to its multiple locations around the Globe, we provide steady support across time zones.
We define the Support level 1 rules to provide the most efficient user experience for current and new systems (Integrity control, Jurisdiction and incident management). We communicate and coordinate Finance Production topics.
We participate in the industrialization of the Group Finance departments promoting best practices and knowledge sharing and aligning tools, norms & methodologies. We rationalize finance production processes and reinforce controls within regional processing centers complying with the group policies.
Responsibilities
The SO FRESH team engages in regular dialogue with stakeholders across global back offices, finance staff, application development & support teams, IT security and other support teams.
As Applications Support Specialist, your key responsibility is to:
Main functions
– Collect and document the existing Teradata platform specifications
– Take part in the workshops designed to develop your skills
– Analyze and collect independently the monitoring needs and the current usage of the Teradara platform
– Follow the functional performance of the Teradata platform based on an existing cell
– Suggest areas of improvement to stabilize the platform
– Be in constant contact with another Business Support, based in India
– Improve the current model to pool it with another platform currently being deployed
You will engage with numerous teams : BA, project managers, developers and production teams. Above all, you will be a key element in the implementation of a new monitoring structure in close coordination with the IT production teams and the application assets teams.
Other Contributions
– Knowledge of monitoring tools provided by Teradata (such as Viewpoint, TASM)
– Understanding and analysis of Teradata-oriented SQL
– Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) are mandatory. French will be an added advantage.

Essential specific requirements
· Candidate might have to work in rotational Shifts (Evening & Night Shifts) as per client requirement.
· During the Quarter End reporting might have to work on Weekend & India Holidays.
· Experience in Client Management and Care
· Hands-on experience working on supporting multiple systems, interfaces and IT processes investigation
· Very good skills using MS Office Productivity tools like MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Access etc.
· Experience in collaborating with different IT groups in support, development and security groups will be preferred
· Knowledge of financial accounting and management accounting processes, standards, controls and systems will be a plus

· Bachelor in Commerce, Science or Engg.
· A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in supporting applications & business processes
· Exposure to IT service delivery, business management
