Position Purpose
This position is for a Delivery Lead within ALMT IT.
Responsibilities
- Delivery Excellence: Oversee end-to-end IT delivery, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. Monitor progress against schedules and conducts reviews of assigned projects/activities.
- Application Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of applications like OMR (Operations Management Reporting) and their key functionalities, such as deal capture, trade release control, payment messaging, and accounting entry creation.
· Hands-On Leadership: Be open to getting involved in technical problem-solving and code reviews as needed.
- Talent Development: Identify and groom team leads and individual contributors, drive upskilling programs to enhance technical and functional capabilities. Build robust succession plans and remove person dependencies.
- Team Building: Foster collaboration and maintain high morale across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including CXO-level executives. Work to align on priorities from multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively. Collaborate with the onshore managers to chalk out the offshoring plans and appropriately develop resourcing/hiring strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with onshore managers to design and implement offshoring strategies for efficiency and scalability. Work in co-corporation with the Onshore Managers and assist in coordinating Domain related plans with the immediate/long term requirements of the projects/programs.
- Risk Management: Demonstrate a strong understanding of fundamental risk concepts and ensure proactive mitigation. Identify and mitigate IT delivery and operational risks. Understand and ensure the team works in adherence to Production Processes and have ‘Production First’ mindset.

Technical skills and qualifications required for the role:
- 15+ years of combined industry, management and technology experience, preferably within the IT Services industry dealing with Financial Services Fortune 500 companies.
- Good to have prior hands-on development experience in JAVA. Experience in relational databases is an added plus.
- Experience in working with EMEA and NAR regions.
- Knowledge of Capital markets and back-office settlement systems.
- Complete understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Knowledge and experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
