Reconciliation IT offers a framework enabling technical and functional standardization of reconciliations in order to maintain productivity and quality to the users. Reconciliation IT works for CIB & 2S métier for various department across globe to serve the reconciliation needs for both control and financial reconciliations.

Position Purpose

Provide Technical Leadership for the Client Engagement and Protection platform. Challenge the technology status quo, propose practical improvements to architecture & design and bring about meaningful discussions for the improvement of platform. Run technical projects in the vertical which will include providing direction, project planning and tracking, reporting. Unblock technical challenges. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and adaptability to navigate the complexities of working in a globally distributed environment.


Direct Responsibilities


•                 Lead and manage the different projects and a team dispersed across different locations.

•                 Propose / Review/ Challenge Application Architecture and Design

•                 Guide/Review Technology Obsolescence Management plan for Reconciliation IT Teams

•                 Foster collaboration, set technical standards and ensure consistency in approach across teams.

•                 Lead automation and guide teams to align with shift left and shift right strategy by encouraging a mindset for automation first and reduce recursive manual efforts.

•                 Goto person to find solutions to any technical challenges in the domain.

•                 Hands on and lead by example.

•                 Resolve performance bottlenecks.

•                 Review Performance test reports and propose preventive measures to be undertaken.

•                 Take ownership of POCs and technical feasibility studies.

•                 Keep up-to-date with latest technologies, trends and provide inputs, expertise and recommendations.

•                 Owner for few technical improvement projects including planning, tracking and implementation.

•                 Maintain the best practices for the development activities

•                 Ensure the IT project documentation is up-to-date on sharepoint, development versioning (git and Bitbuket)

•                 Ensuring that the organization standards are followed during various phases of software development life-cycle and thereby ensure quality of deliverables.

•                 Ensure that project resources have exposure to different parts of the application/systems and that the dependency on people is mitigated by the experience on the team. 

Contributing Responsibilities


•                 Able to prepare the status reports for weekly updates with stakeholders

•                 Communication with Stakeholders, Business Analysts, End-users, and various teams like Higher Management, Development, Systems, Support, Implementation etc.

•                 Drive a culture of continuous improvement and encourage innovation within teams

•                 Contribute towards innovation; suggest new technical practices for efficiency improvement.

•                 Contribute towards recruitment.

•                 Level-up of members in the vertical.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

•                 Strong development & support knowledge of IntelliMatch 9.2.7 or higher version or other reconciliation tools (Frontier.). (Mandatory)

•                 Strong development & support knowledge of IntelliSUITE 9.2.7 or above  (Mandatory)

•                 SQL (Building Stored procedures, writing functions, complex queries, etc.)(Mandatory)

•                 Report tools like Power BI, Tableau (Mandatory)

•                 Knowledge of any defect management tool (optional)

•                 Knowledge of Perl, VB Script and python (optional)

•                 Knowledge of DevOPS components Jenkins, Liquibase, Sonar, CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (optional)

•                 Knowledge of Reconciliation, types of reconciliation, basic reconciliation reports and various applied for reconciliation setup, housekeeping, file alerting etc. (Mandatory)

•                 Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and inclination to constantly upgrade on new technologies and frameworks.

•                 Good communication and co-ordination skills.

Nice to have Skills:

•                 Must be able to work closely with end users and developers.

•                 Strong organization and prioritization skills.

•                 Knowledge in Cloud Architectures.

•                 Knowledge/experience on Dynatrace, Autosys and other schedulers used commonly in market

•                 Pragmatic approach to problem solving.

•                 Effective communication with all stakeholders/teams
