Position Purpose

The BNP Paribas Fortis IT department is currently working in Agile mode, which offers a challenging and motivating environment where teams and employees are empowered to manage their own technical domain.

The missions are among other things to maintain our SQL Server environment (about 2000 databases for the entire APS), ensure data integrity and a high level of availability and provide support to developers.

BNP Paribas Fortis needs an SQL Server DBA to enforce the team.

You will work in the agile production services: IT APS TCC, Functions, Devex


·       The job mainly consists of the following elements:

·       Performance and tuning of SQL Server databases.

·       Ensure data integrity and maintain a high level of systems availability.

·       Maintain multiple SQL Server databases and related products, following reference architecture and standards.

·       Develop scripts, while providing documentation and procedures.

·       Provide support to developers.

Manage AAG (always on availability groups).

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·       In depth knowledge of SQL Server databases 2016 and higher

·       Expert in performance and tuning.

·       knowledge in SSIS, SSRS & SSASss

·       Experience with High Availability solution

·       Experience in T-SQL

·       Knowledge of Sybase ASE

·       Experience SQL server in Cloud

  • Be able to work in Agile Way Of Working

·       Knowledge of REDIS is an added value
