BNP Paribas IT teams are providing infrastructure, development and production support services to all applications used worldwide by all business lines. There is a great variety of technologies and infrastructures from legacy systems to cutting edge Cloud technologies.

Within BNP Paribas Group IT, the filiere “Open Digital Market” is in charge of defining and supporting everything related to the developer’s experience for BNP Paribas group entities.

Position Purpose

BNP Paribas 2020-2025 strategy aims to improve the daily experience of groups developers. This includes developers’ environments and tools to improve speed, quality, and security of development. Currently 20k developers work for the group

We want to expand our French support team based in Paris to cover the working hours in Asia. The support team helps IT employees to use the DevX Solution, which is a Linux environment with VScode embedded in a POD on DMZR for group developers. This solution is aimed to be deployed largely in the group especially for Cloud Development.

The support activity is done through ServiceNow product (tickets management) for DevX solution and is supported by comprehensive documentation available on group sharepoint.


Direct Responsibilities

·         Provide technical and functional support to users (duly justified by an incident into Service Now):

o   Order process from the Marketplace

o   Deployment issue due to wrong data provided during order process

o   Support to developers related to tools packaged on Digital Store

o   Support to developers related to DevX solution

·         Manage communication in case of degradations or unavailability of a DevX product after deployment or update.

·         Manage incidents within the scope of reporting by ensuring that the service is restored as quickly as possible in full transparency and ensure the eradication of problems.

·         Use, write and maintain a technical documentation on SharePoint related to DevX.

·         Provide its analysis on technical and functional components improvement in order to improve the user experience.

Contributing Responsibilities

·         Contribute to the availability of DevX solution: incidents, issues.

·         Contribute to the regular activity reporting and KPI calculation.

·         Contribute to continuous improvement actions.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·         Knowledge of ITIL

·         General IT infrastructure knowledge

·         Particular knowledge and experience with DevSecOps pratices

·         Particular knowledge and experience with products of DevSecOps platform

·         Familiarity with ServiceNow ,Confluence and SharePoint products

·         Good Knowledge on different programming Language , Java, Python, .NET, Go and php

·         Good Knowledge on Visual Studio Code

·         Cloud Technologies and Kubernetes

·         Good written and spoken English

·         French speaking will be appreciated

·         Measure and identify areas for improving Quality and overall Delivery

·         Able to communicate efficiently
