Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to work on projects in Client Marketing and Life Cycle Management division.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
– The developer’s primary responsibility is to help build and maintain a robust web application.
– Participate in full development lifecycle including design, estimation, planning, development, unit test, release and implementation support.
– Work with BA and Tech Lead to understand functional requirements and provide technical solutions
– Responsible for proper documentation of technical specifications.
– End-to-end responsibility to deliver the code in all the environments: DEV/SIT/UAT/Prod.
– Participate in functional testing with the testing team in SIT and Users in UAT.
Contributing Responsibilities
– Contribute to support activities.
– Ability to analyze, debug any code issues.
– Raise the issue to the team lead or higher management in case it involves risk to the project timeline.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or computer engineering
· 6+ years of experience in the following
· Hands-on experience with Java 8 and above, Web technologies and frameworks Spring (Core, Security, MVC), Spring Boot, JPA, REST API, Junit, .
· Hands-on experience in Application servers like Tomcat/ WebSphere
· Strong knowledge about design patterns and development principles
· Good practical knowledge of design of RDBMS and SQL.
· Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and Agile.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Ability to work in fast-paced environments
· High level of professionalism, patience and maturity
Good to have –
· Experience in Wealth Management / Private banking
· GIT, BIT Bucket, Jenkins
· Docker, Kubernetes & Cloud experience
· Hands-on experience in JSP, HTML, JQuery, Java Script, Angular 8
· Hands-on experience in Work flow tools like CAMUNDA BPMN
