About Business line/Function:

WMIS Hub Compliance Division is in-charge of the implementation and maintenance of WM Compliance applications and the data flows to Group Tools. Primarily on AML (Anti Money Laundering) Monitoring, Trade Surveillance Market Abuse Monitoring,  Name Screening, Compliance Reporting. The main stakeholders are the Local Compliance, WM HO Compliance, WM HO KYC.

Position Purpose

BNP Paribas WM uses Actimize for its Market Integrity monitoring framework.

Within the Wealth Management IT Hub Compliance Division, the Senior Oracle Developer will work closely with Project manager and Tech lead to contribute and drive the Technical implementation of Actimize project releases. This include understanding of Functional requirement, proposing solutions, coordination with the source system teams and other IT contributors.



Direct Responsibilities

1-    Participate in the Actimize Market Abuse Enhancement projects through:

o    Develop PL/SQL store procedure to process the data

o    Perform Unit and Integration and non-regression testing

o    Prepare Design Specification, Technical Specification

o    Prepare the data requirement and mapping document

o    Provide UAT support

o    Provide deployment support to production team

o    Deploy and install packages in Dev, SIT and UAT env through CI CD process

o    Prepare support handover documentation.

o    Analyze data and logs to resolve application issues

o    Analyze business requirements to contribute to application design

2-       Participate in data ETL Actimize evolution projects.

1-      Provide L3 support, analyze and fix Production anomaly.

2-      On Job Learning and understanding of the compliance business and user requirements.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical Competencies

  • Expert  in Shell scripting
  • Expert in Oracle PL/SQL

§  REST API (Good to have) – Java development to consume data sourcing through APIs/Kafka

  • Knowledge in Financial investment instruments, e.g. Equity, Equity and FX derivatives, Fixed Income, Structured Product, etc
