As part of the strategic offshoring strategy of APAC IT Production, we’re looking for a competent resource to set up the offshored support team for APAC CTO Office – Finance & PMO team. At the initial stage, the person will work closely with onshore PMO team to ensure smooth transition of knowledge transfer and progressively set up the foundation for the near-future offshoring opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up the offshore support team for APAC CTO Office – Finance & PMO team
- Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and transition from the onshore resource
- Collaborate seamlessly with onshore PMO to monitor APAC ITP budget & HC (both onshore & offshore)
- Actively participate in the budget exercise
- Provide support and oversight to ISPL PMO who managed APAC ITP account
- Proactive in improving our process and practices
- Invoice management
Competencies (Technical / Behavioral)
Technical:
- In-depth knowledge of the IT budget management
- Proficient in managing complex IT budget in a large banking organization
- Ability to analyse and identify discrepancies in the financial reviews
- A strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, networks, cloud platform, and databases.
- Knowledge of finance tools and processes
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards relevant to IT budget
- Proficient in creating detailed documentation and developing robust budget management process

- Strong interpersonal skills essential, with an ability to build remote relationships
- Experience in leading, motivating and managing internal and external resources
- Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive sponsors and stakeholders

Specific Qualifications Required
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of IT budget management experience in large banking organization,
- Highly organized and agile with an ability to adapt to handle multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to manage large-scale IT budget
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and achieve a common business objective
- Good level of proficiency with MS Office and presenting to stakeholders
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
