About Business line/Function:

WMIS Hub Finance Division is in-charge of the implementation and maintenance of WM Finance applications and the data flows to group tool. Primarily on Profitability Management and Reporting, Management Reporting, Liquidity reporting, etc. Regulatory projects such as IFRS9, BCBS 239, were also under Finance Division responsibility. The main stakeholders are the Local Finance, WM HO Finance and also Group Finance.

Position Purpose

BNP Paribas Group is transforming the finance reporting from all the regions and entities globally. As part of this transformation program BNP Paribas WM would also require to meet the Group objective to consolidate its data to the Group.

The position opened is a Program Management role covering several streams of the OFS (One Financial System) program.

Main mission of the PM will be to:

•        Lead the program throughout all project phases

•        Identify, structure and follow the different project streams of the Program:

–          OFS CH/MC

–          OFS SG, HK, TW

–          OFS Spain

–          TIGER OFS

•        Manage Program scope, budget and planning, reporting on progress, in full compliance with the organization’s project management lifecycle and governance.

•        Lead all Functional and Development teams contributing to the Program, including transversal enabling teams; in particular lead the projects part of the program (as per above)

•        Coordinate and keep informed sponsors and users representatives, while managing their expectations

•        Organize and chair meetings and committees with various stakeholders and contributors, IT, users, management, as needed during the execution of the program

•        Identify and manage program risks, dependencies with other projects, escalations to management and sponsors whenever necessary, and without any delay

•        Deliver Project documentation, both from project governance perspective and IT asset perspective

•        Ensure that all program deliverables respect WMIS governance and standards and are fully aligned and mutualized between sites and regions. Specific solution should only be considered to address regulatory specific requirements

•        Manage and collaborate with Europe and APAC teams stakeholders from Group Finance OFS team, CIB Finance

•        Execute and managed WMIS project governance and release management deliverables.

Prior knowledge on WMIS IT systems and flows are necessary to orchestrate and plan the delivery of the various teams:

•        Olympic: for Accounting movement flows

•        Primos and WMFU: for counterparty Credit-risk perimeter

•        Euclid: for Thirdparty data

Responsibilities

 

The OFS Program Manager will be the privileged contact for sponsors and user representatives during the whole execution of the Program, and will be responsible for all project tasks such as:

–      Program budget and planning definition breaking down the project into smaller and manageable transitions stages

–      Program capacity plan : Analysis requirement and provide detailed project plan for each work stream

–      Ensure the good relationship with business sponsors and stakeholders across the organization

–      Business requirements consolidation and formal validation

–      Prepare migration and testing strategy consolidation and formal validation

–      Centralize Program information and status from all contributing teams and transversal teams

–      Able to independently prepare and run Project SteerCo.

–      Identify and report on program risks, attention points and issues to follow-up

–      Perform detailed analysis of the Business requirement and perform impact analysis and provide solutions.

–      Coordinate with all teams, from same division or other divisions, working on the same program

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

•    Must have worked as Senior Project Manager and/or Business analyst at least for 12 years.

•    Hands on experience working as BA in the following areas are anticipated (or a mix) for the functional knowledge:

o   Finance process and Local Regulatory and HO reporting

o   Credit-risk Reporting

o   Core banking solutions such as Olympic or Transact

•    Demonstrable experience in a similar role with Financial Services.

•    Good knowledge and working capability of product life cycle like loans, deposits, derivatives, Guarantees, Securities etc.

•    Must have good knowledge and understanding of the information flow and various business functions in BNPP WM systems (Olympic, WMFU, Primos).

•    Must have knowledge on Accounting /finance system implementation lifecycle within BNPP WM Core-banking system Olympic.

•    Experience working throughout the entire project life cycle; including analyzing and documenting requirements, workshops, testing and stakeholder management throughout.

•    Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment

•    Able to conduct workshops with business teams and challenging the requirements

•    Collaborate with different teams which are effectively spread across various regions

•    Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude. 

•    Excellent written and oral communication skills.

•    Highly well-organized individual

•    PMP certified / Scrum certification would be advantageous.
