Position Purpose
Shared Data Ecosystem (SDE) is an ITG-FRESH department hosting various applications relating to the “filière unique program” in charge of collecting Accounting and Risk data from local entities in a unique stream through Universal Plug application.
The Universal Plug (UP NG application) constitutes the target entry point to feed the Shared Reporting Space for non-OFS Entities and ASTERIA is a modular tool with the first goal was to serve the production of Stress Test EBA 2020 Reportings . Now used for further reports like Pillar 3 Group, BGL & Fortis, ST BCE, GSIB…
Both applications are in Shared Data Ecosystem (SDE) department.
BNP Paribas is looking for dynamic and highly motivated individuals for the role of IT Team Leader for ASTERIA and UP NG Applications. The person will be responsible to manage two development teams who provide the maintenance and evolutions of these applications and provide a level 2 support in case of incident
The role will mainly focus on leading the team and providing the functional & technical support along with an opportunity to contribute to project deliveries of in-scope applications. The role also demands the troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating the production events to end users and stakeholders. The role needs to ensure high availability of these applications, and it also demands the strong coordination skills and commitment to production support service delivery.
The Team Leader will be fully integrated in the project team located in Paris and involved in roadmap construction and project instruction on technical phasis. The position will require high reactivity and reporting skills to follow the IT activities. The candidate will also use IT tools in the Devops toolchain and guarantee the high quality of developments and compliance to IT Standards.
Responsibilities
· Expert in Java technologies to lead the team with the technical guidance, solutions and fixes
· Should be in the position to understand the technical challenges and provide the solutions
· Lead and report on development activity trend
· Manage the configuration management for each release
· Coordinate with production Teams as applicable for quicker resolution of issues/incidents whilst ensuring the timely communications to all stakeholders
· Coordination internally in the team on projects, KPI’s and controls.
· Ensuring the timely delivery of change in staging and production ecosystem as per the agreed schedule.
· Work closely in a “one team” approach with all stakeholders, jointly providing high quality deliverables
· Proposing application performance improvement
