Position Purpose

The AS400 RPG/COBOL Developer will be part of the AS400 Development Chapter/Team and will be responsible for the development of technical solutions for various projects within the WMIS Operations Division.  will also be responsible for providing the required support to resolve Production issues related to the applications under the responsibility of WMIS Operations Division.


Direct Responsibilities

•                 Contribute as a senior developer to key, strategic and other projects of WMIS Operations Division

•                 Propose efficient technical solutions and programming design

•                 Write technical specifications (RPG or COBOL/400)

•                 Do development and unit testing in RPG or COBOL/400

•                 Prepare necessary project documentation and other quality deliverables

•                 Prepare technical deliveries and packaging

•                 Provide technical support document to Production teams

•                 Provide warranty support / post-production implementation support

•                 Adhere to WMIS project and support governance

•                 Provide on-call night batch support for Olympic Asia EOD as per support roster schedule.

•                 Provide Level 3 full-time support for Olympic Asia as per support schedule.
