Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the team’s goal.
To help the project by owning the critical data transformation and integration processes. This would help faster and simpler development and maintenance. The profile is someone with excellent WTX experience who can quickly adapt and deliver. Expected to train and develop the expertise of the team.
The Developer will have following responsibilities:
- Analyse & estimate the requirement.
- Write detailed technical analysis with impacts (technical/functionally)
- Design & develop high quality code
- Unit test and provide support during implementation
- Bug fixing & performance optimization
- Mentor and carry out code reviews of junior members on the team
- Support to Service Delivery team for Production issue.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
– IFD, DID and Websphere TX – Design Studio
– Creating WTX Systems, Maps, Typetrees and MDQ
– Unix Shell scripting
– Oracle PL/SQL development
Specific Qualifications (if required)
- Knowledge and experience in the financial services domain
- Good understanding of software development life cycle and Agile/iterative methodology
- Prior experience in offshore-onshore development/maintenance projects
