Position Purpose

As a Technical Architect you will be working with all stake holders across WMIS (Enterprise Architecture, Toolchain team, Security, Production, Development teams) providing consultation & guidance.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy in designing architectures, build/integration methods and identifying tools to achieve business & technical objectives
• Perform Technical Architecture reviews aligned with Group production principles
• Follow up closely with development teams on practice adoption (eg. Unit Testing, Code Reviews, Code Quality, Deployment Automation & Test Automation)
• Stay current on software engineering trends & tools
• Act as an open minded Evangelist promoting best practices amongst the tech community

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 10+ years of practical experience in IT industry
• 5+ years of practical experience in software development of web applications (Spring, Angular, SQL, Redis, Git, Jenkis, Kafka, Maven…)
• At-least 1+ years of experience as an Technical Architect

Specific Qualifications (if required)

Plus

• Experience with software development methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall)
• Shell scripting
