About Business line/Function:

ALMT (Asset and Liability Management Treasury) is a Transversal Activity, present throughout the Group, which manages the liquidity, interest rate and foreign exchange risks of the Bank’s balance sheet, including its implementation on financial markets.

ALMT-IT caters to IT demands of ALMT functions within the bank.

Within ALMT IT perimeter, Steering & Referential domain manages the Liquidity and Interest rate risk, along with Collateral reporting to European central banks and handles maintenance of rates referential with dedicated application.

Position Purpose

Current position is under “ALMT IT – S&R” scope to contribute in an individual capacity for performing Business Analysis & Testing activities by coordinating with Business & IT stakeholders.


Direct Responsibilities

  • Interact with functional and technical representatives of project teams to understand business functionalities, integration mechanism and data sources.
  • Coordinate with different Business and IT stakeholders & prepare Functional Specification Documents.
  • Prepare test cases & test plans. Conduct Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing.
  • Review Functional Specifications, Test Cases prepared by peers.
  • Provide functional assistance to team members.
  • Conduct user training sessions on applications and functionalities.
  • Proactively train others to ensure knowledge sharing and backup creation.
  • Ensure that the project and organization standards are followed during various phases of software development lifecycle and day to day development work.
  • Estimate efforts and schedule for various modules and meet deadlines.
  • Functional Release Documentation
  • Along with functional knowledge, work with IT team to continuously improve technical understanding of applications to be able to propose pragmatic solutions.
  • To ensure that application is of good quality, ensure any issues are fixed on priority.  Provide necessary L3 support as and when required.
  • To work with teams to help solve complex problems.
  • To ensure all activities carried-out and solutions proposed, planned, and delivered are compliant with Organization policy guidelines.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in an IT industry in the Finance or Capital Market domain.
  • Good Knowledge of Capital Market activities, Financial Products, Financial Terminologies is a must.
  • Excellent documentation ability. Strong experience in preparing Specification Documents.
  • Strong Ability to understand business requirements easily and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Good SQL Query writing skills
  • Thorough understanding of complete Software Development Lifecycle
  • Understanding of Trade Life Cycle
  • Experience in creating test cases and test plans.
  • Experience in performing different levels of testing/validation (functional, regression, integration, etc.)
  • Capability to understand and analyze complex IT application and financial product structures.
  • Mindset for continuous improvement and ability to regularly level up skills & capabilities.  Good communication, interpersonal and co-ordination skills and self-motivated

Nice to have Skills:

  • Basics of Linux OS
  • Knowledge of Business Objects
  • Knowledge of Datawarehouse concepts
  • Knowledge of ALM Treasury functions and business processes.
