About Business line/Function : 

IT DIGITAL MARKETPLACE role is to manage the display, ordering and consumption of all kinds of IT products and services to all BNP Paribas collaborators for all entities in a single application. Assists with the transformation of traditional IT asset management towards creating customer-oriented products and services that can be delivered automatically, monitored, billables. contributes to the continuous improvement of those digital offers by empowering producers with management tools, usage data and customer feedbacks

Position Purpose

As a QA Engineer on the Marketplace, the candidate will be responsible to guarantee that the application is working in regards to the existing tests.

The candidate will have to work on automation to increase the coverage of tests of the application.

The candidate will be able to help with the stability of the platform and ensure the availability for our customers.

Understanding upcoming features and identifying potential edge cases will be an important part of the feature development process so that features can ship with a better level of maturity.





Direct Responsibilities


·         Write and maintain global test plan (manual or automated)

·         Test provider integrations

·         Participate in feature process to define acceptance tests for new features with the feature owner and squad lead

·         Collaborate with Customer Care team to translate customer feedback into new test plan

·         Write and maintain automated tests with Cypress

·         Write and maintain API tests

·         Collaborate with Technical Lead on the Marketplace Tech Quality Dashboard




Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·         Background in working in an agile environment (knowledge of the methods and their limits)

·         Knowledge of Git and GitLab

·         Ability to write clear and actionable acceptance tests

·         Ability to understand a new domain

·         Knowledge of REST APIs and how they work

·         Expertise in frontend end to end testing (Cypress and JavaScript)

·         Knowledge of frontend development is a plus (React, HTML, CSS)
